Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon

Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, Aww I donno people really don’t know . There was the whole hype surrounding it, how it was going to be this amazing 3D spectacular event to knock the pants off all that came before but I was not overly impressed. It was better than “Revenge of the Fallen” but it doesn’t live up to the first one not by a long shot. Too much mayhem is going on, its meant to be “Robots in Disguise” all that was missing was Optimus fighting Godzllilla, laying waste to the city like the cloverfield monster. There is nothing really new here its the same ingredients as the other two movies just mixed up a little, and I do mean a little.

Whats most disappointing is that they had a clever hook with the whole Apollo 11 moon landing, but it for me just let itself down relying on the special effects and going all out into an apocalyptic robotic armageddon. The action does not disappoint and its special effects are amazing but thats all it really is, special effects and that I’m sorry Mr bay does not make a movie… actually I’m not sorry! Also Sam is all of a sudden with another girl!! What’s going on? A little bit of a lead up to that one would have been nice for those who didn’t keep up with the gossip. Didn’t like Rosie much, fair enough she is an gorgeous looking model, but why does s feel the need to act? The only reason she got the job is because Michael Bay always puts some sexy bimbo in every one of his movies. Sorry Megan and Rosie… actually I’m not sorry.

Why did I choose this movie, I missed it in the Movies and that was maybe my mistake, if i had seen it in 3D or IMAX i possibly may of enjoyed it more but well i didnt so ill make do with Blue-Ray. I know I’m not being kind but i will end up buying it anyway here is the good stuff. It’s a giant alien robot smashing punch up metal grinding fight to the end. Even if your not a fan you should still go see it, its darker than the others, Leonard Nimoy gets to throw in a few well placed lines and the humans get it tight, really tight! Yes the Auto-Bots may save the day but the cost to fix the mess they left behind would destroy the world’s economy, frankly we would of been better off under Decepticon rule…

Format: Blu-ray Rental (Love Film)

I would buy this Movie
