Get him to the Greek, a movie where one guy has to get this other guy to the Greek Hotel.. with hilarious consequences. Russell Brand reprises his role from forgetting Sarah Marshal as Aldous Snow the snake hipped British rock star! Aaron Green (Jonah Hill), his biggest fan, suggests to his boss Sergio (Sean “Puff Daddy” “P-Diddy” Combs) to hold an anniversary gig in honour of Aldous and to hopefully reboot the ledged rockers career ! The rest of the movie revolves around Aaron trying to get Aldous to the greek hotel for the gig and survive the crazy antics that he’s put through!

I have always wondered why Russel Brand always plays these drugged up and alcoholic roles (Arthur, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) since he is actually clean now! Suppose he has material to think back and act out on! Russell and Johna do it well together, the drunken absinth scenes are hilarious but the supporting cast is really where the laughs are. I especially love Sergio just that mental record label excusive hyper smart mouthed insane and quotable, the fact that its Sean “Puff Daddy” “P-Diddy” Combs just makes it funnier!

Why did I choose this movie, comedy again I do need lots of it, and it has been a while since I have seen it! The real gem about the movie is the soundtrack, The lyrics to all of his songs and of his wife’s are shockingly outrageous. All the songs that Aldous sings should of been released at the time of movie it would of made number 1, no matter how nasty they are! So if life slips you a Jeffery… stroke the furry wall… and go rent or buy this DVD!
